10 Things We're Doing Besides Traveling Well-ish
If you’ve ever wondered which one of us has more sway in this relationship, consider this: Claire is now a certified member of the carry-on-only club, but Erica still has yet to get pre-check. (BTW: How’s this talking-in-the-collective-third-person thing working out for you guys? Weird? Good? Both? Great.) erica’s things
Seeking out not-terrible airport dining with the help of these wonderfully handy Eater guides.
Finding a non-messy way to travel with (ya guessed it!) coconut oil: in packet form.
Tucking this bag under the seat of every flight I’ve taken for the past seven years...and then buying a second when, after all that time, it finally started showing signs of wear.
Answering, with confidence, one of the hardest travel Qs around: “Do you need rental-car insurance?”
Showing all those headphones and chargers who’s boss with these wonderful (and wonderfully simple) rubberized ties.

Fooling TSA agents everywhere into thinking I’m a sane packer, thanks to these remarkably useful things, which force some semblance of organization and rational thought onto the process.
Having my world rocked by the realization that I can stop the (maddening!) practice of buying tiny, expensive bottles of contact lens solution that will last me one week.
Feeling like I’m in possession of a magic magnifying glass with an app that instantly translates anything you take a picture of—menus, street signs...speeding tickets? (In which case: Shoulda used it on those street signs, eh?)
Recognizing what is perhaps the only travel ritual that Erica and I can agree on: texting each other to confirm who is in charge of bringing this in her suitcase.
Finally having a super-handy place to keep track of all the adorable-looking spots I read about in travel magazines in locations that I have no plans of visiting….yet. (NB: I am obsessed with this app and am totally unclear on why it’s not a bigger thing.)
