• Adding Christina Tosi’s weirdo take on the Rice Krispie treat to my holiday baking roster.

• Filling up my Goodreads queue with all of the books that Maris Kreizman—A.K.A. Slaughterhouse 90210—really loved this year.

• Using this $20 curling wand to fix a botched blow-out job and flipping out over the results.

• Falling in love with the collages of artist Hanna Eshel—presumably studies for her sculptures, they stand on their own as damn fine fixin’s for your wall.

• Hulu-ing Masterchef Junior, because there’s something really heartwarming and inspiring about watching a bunch of 8- to 13-year-old kids whip up dishes that look like they belong in Michelin-starred restaurants.

• LOL-ing at College Humor’s imagining of our world if we all wrote like we were still in college.

• Feeling like I truly know what it feels like to be a teen superstar after reading the fascinating accounts by Joe Jonas and Mandy Moore.
